Stilettos

I did this painting for my wonderful sister sister. Nothing says girls night out like a pink pair of stilettos.

Indian Paintbrush

Watercolor of an Indian Paintbrush. I saw this flower while hiking in Estes Park, Colorado, and was absolutely dazzled by it. Also, I learned how to pour watercolor which helped make the background flow- lots of fun. Try it.

ABC

I illustrated the ABC's for my roommate. It was actually published into a book with fun facts about each animal. The animals are done in watercolor and pen.

Green Seam

This was for a class project in psychology of group dynamics, so I put together a little logo for us.

The Love-dovey Card

I like to make cards. This one is drawn with just one line, like the journey of love. Lots of curves, but one journey. It's kind of messy. But you get the picture. Just like love.

Dependable

I love pilot pens. ALOT. So I did an ad. I took the photographs. This one is targeted towards college kids.

Appropriation

My first art show was an appropriation of artists from the 1900’s and the interconnected dialogue that takes place in the art world. It was fun and funky.

Index Cards

This piece comments on how we try to categorize our lives. Index cards are used to categorize details so I used index cards as my medium for this art piece. Upon doing this project, I realized that just trying to trace one single line of our face takes thousands of cards. Imagine the whole body, at every angle. It really shows our complexity and the enormous task of trying to categorize ourselves.

Beach Volleyball

So my sister calls me up one day. She has decided to start giving beach volleyball lessons. Which is great for the girls in Macon, but a little stressful for me. Now, I have to come up with a design in a couple of days. I think this advertisement did the trick. Her beach volleyball club is off to a good start.
